Well, now that you ask...
He doesn't seem to have a sense of humor. I'm editing and editing and I'm like, "Why doesn't he think this is funny?"
Some people are serious. I simply cannot believe I've written one. Marc's sense of humor must be in there somewhere!
(Scrabbling through Marc's large leather travel pouch, in his coffer, under the straw tick on his bed, under Brengy's saddle. I can't have left it out!)

Frustrating when they form their own personalities, isn't it?
Not everybody is going to find the same things funny. Marc no doubt doesn't have your dry self-deprecating wit...but he'll be forced to cultivate it through the sheer insanity of traveling through time. That being said...don't worry. Your voice has a generous slice of humor in it, and that will come through and morph onto your characters. Maybe he and Lachlan have more in common than we thought. :-)
